A team is a group that gets one summary. If two groups want two different summaries, that is two teams. Everything below is per month and excludes tax.

Every plan includes the whole product. The differences are how many teams you cover, how far back the archive goes, and what your finance and security people need.
The small print, said out loud
What is not included, on any plan
There is no per-seat charge, and no seat count
Anyone in your organisation can read the summaries. You pay for teams, not for readers.
There is no dashboard
Cadence produces a page of writing and sends it. It does not chart your velocity and it never will.
There is no free plan
There is a fourteen-day trial with no card. After that it is 00 a month or nothing, which keeps the incentives honest.
Custom sources are not on the price list
If your updates live somewhere we do not read yet, tell us. Sometimes we build it, often we do not, and we say which within a week.
Before you pay
The questions that arrive by email
What happens to the summaries if I stop paying?
The archive stays readable for thirty days and you can export all of it to Markdown on any day of those thirty, including the last one. After thirty days it is deleted, and we send a reminder on day twenty-three. Nothing is held back to make leaving harder.
Can I change plan in the middle of a month?
Yes, from the billing page. Moving up is charged pro rata from that day. Moving down takes effect at the next renewal, and the archive beyond the new plan's retention stops being searchable at that point rather than being deleted.
Is there a discount for paying yearly?
Two months, so a year costs ten. On the Company plan, annual is the only option because the invoice has to go through procurement anyway.
What counts as a team?
A group that receives one summary. Eleven people who share a chat channel are one team. The same eleven split into a platform group and a mobile group, each wanting their own Friday page, are two.
Who can see the summary?
Whoever the editor sends it to, plus anyone with an account in your organisation who opens the archive. There is no public link and no sharing by address; on the Company plan, access follows your directory.
Do you train anything on our updates?
No. Your messages are read to write your summary and for nothing else. They are not used to improve a model, they are not shown to another customer, and we do not keep the source messages after the summary is sent.
What if the summary is wrong?
It sometimes is, which is why it is drafted on Thursday and sent on Friday. The editor sees the draft with every line linked to its source, rewrites what is wrong, and the version that goes out is the edited one.
Can we self-host it?
No. There is one version, run by us, updated for everybody at once. If your policy requires the data to stay in a particular region, that is the Company plan.
